The TUM Institute of Advanced Study (IAS) has been successfully established in 2006.

We proudly announce that Prof. Wilderer was appointed as member of the International Board of Trustees, and as member of the Advisory Council.

Concomitantly, TUM and our Institute agreed upon formal cooperation.

IAS will support inspiring basic research through interdisciplinary initiatives.

It will be our task to provide incentives regarding promotion of sustainability enabling science.
