Foundation

IESP  has been founded on November 9, 2008 on advice of participants of the Workshop on Earth System Engineering – The Art of Dealing Wisely with the Planet Earth, held on Sept. 23 – 26, 2008 in Wildbad-Kreuth, Germany. 

Organization

IESP considers itself as a body of individuals having in common deep concern about the preservation of the functioning of the Earth system, and dedication to provide solutions.

IESP is a section of the Institute of Advanced Studies on Sustainability. For more information see "Association / Agreement IoS/IESP".
